Something Old Something New

Every Wednesday, the Lilypad has items that are marked down 50% just for the day. I always love working with Sara Gleason’s templates but Kate Hadfield’s doodles are a newly acquired love!! It’s amazing what using a few of them can add to the story.  I’ve found a new thing I love to collect!!

Both layouts are using Sara’s Summer Garden templates, one also uses Kate’s School Sports doodles.

Nuclear Museum (one of the layouts about Tommy’s Philmont trip)

Journaling reads:
This was your second visit to the National Museum of Nuclear Science in Albuquerque, NM. You enjoyed the World War II exhibit the most. Your favorite thing about the museum is that it does try to explain the numerous effects of the nuclear age from World War II up to the Cold War including its effect on pop culture. It focuses on the many applications of nuclear energy in the past, present and future.

Second one is about Elysse’s love for sports
Journaling reads:
My daughter, a sports lover? Really? This I would have never imagined as I am definitely not a sports follower. This love for sports had to have come from your dad. You’ve said your female friends just don’t “get it” but your male friends think it’s great that you LOVE sports and are really knowledgable about them too. I think it’s awesome that you can talk Fantasy Football with your brother as a shared hobby. You regularly attend Miami Dolphins football games, Miami Heat basketball games and now soccer matches with Jorge in Miami. How lucky for you to find a guy who loves sports like you do!
